How to Configure Settings

This guide covers all configurable settings available to administrators.

Prerequisites

• You must be logged in as a superuser (admin)
• The Settings page is only visible to admins

Navigating to Settings

From the main navigation, click on Settings (or go to /settings).

Company Information

These fields appear in inspection report PDFs and throughout the application.

Company Logo

You can upload a company logo that will appear in the navigation header and on PDF inspection reports.

Uploading a Logo

1. Click Choose File under the Company Logo section
2. Select an image file (JPG, PNG, GIF, or WEBP recommended)
3. A preview of the logo will appear
4. Click Save Settings to apply

Removing a Logo

1. Click Remove Logo
2. The logo preview will clear
3. Click Save Settings to confirm removal

Tip: For best results, use a logo with a transparent background (PNG) and a width of at least 200px.

Inspection Percentage

The Inspection Percentage controls what portion of parts in a lot should be measured.

Setting	Description	Default
Inspection %	Target percentage of parts to inspect per lot	10

This value is informational and displayed as guidance on the Data Input page.

Pass Rate Thresholds

These thresholds determine the color-coded pass rate badges shown on the Reports page.

Setting	Description	Default
Green Threshold	Pass rate at or above this value shows a green badge	90%
Yellow Threshold	Pass rate at or above this (but below green) shows a yellow badge	60%

Any pass rate below the Yellow Threshold shows a red badge.

Example

With the default settings of Green=90, Yellow=60:

Saving Settings

After making any changes, click Save Settings at the bottom of the page. A success message will confirm the changes were saved.

Note: Company name changes take effect immediately in the navigation header without requiring a page reload.

Troubleshooting

Settings page not visible

The Settings page is only available to admins. If you do not see it in the navigation, you are logged in as a regular user.

Logo not appearing after upload

Ensure the uploaded file is a supported image format (JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP). If the issue persists, try a different image or clear your browser cache.

Changes not saving

Ensure all required fields are filled in and that the green/yellow threshold values are valid numbers between 0 and 100. Yellow threshold must be less than the green threshold.
